My best friend growing up and the God-mother of our girls, Natalie, came to visit us this weekend from Nashville, Tennessee with her 2 kids. They drove to Arkansas on Wednesday, and spent a few days with her grand-parents in Hot Springs, then came to our house on Saturday. We were a little bit afraid the weather might shorten our visit, but Natalie was brave and came on anyway. The kids had such a good time, and they were so much fun to watch. These visits just make me sad that we do not live closer to each other.
As soon as Natalie, Tori, and Brady got here, Logan wanted to show Tori the bed she was going to be able to use for sleeping. There was really no time needed for "warming up" to each other, they just jumped right in and started playing. The girls are 6 months apart with Lucy at 2 1/2 years, Tori at 3 years, and Logan at 3 1/2 years.
Here is Brady playing with the balls. Since we've only had girls in our house, we don't have many boy-appropriate toys. Brady didn't seem to mind!!

Here's all 4 kids playing together in the play-room. It was amazing how much "damage" could be done to that room in such a short time!! They kids were so good at sharing the toys, and they really seemed to like each other.

Lucy found her sunglasses that have been lost for several weeks, and she immediately wanted Tori to wear them. They were so precious with each other.

Here's Tori just smiling and having a good time playing with new toys to her. The girls sometimes get tired of playing with the same toys all of the time, but Tori was having so much fun playing with all of these toys that were new to her!

Lucy was definitely partial to Brady, and she kept calling him "my baby." She kept wanting to hold him, so Natalie let her sit in her lap so she could hold Brady. Of course, Logan was not going to let Lucy get all of the attention. Brady was such a good sport, and he just went with the flow.

All of the girls were trying to teach Brady how to walk. They all lined up holding hands and were walking through the house with my mom.

Lucy and her favorite baby!

My dad enjoyed having a boy around too. He was having a good time playing with and holding Lucy and Brady.

After Hoy had cooked us dinner, and we had given all 4 kids a bath, and we had let them play for a while, this is how they looked about 5 minutes after going to bed!! We put the sleeping-bag cot in the girls room for Tori, and they were out. They all 3 slept all night. The most interesting part of the day was bath time. I'm not quite sure how people with 4 and 5 kids do this everyday!!

Hoy was sweet enough to be our chef for the weekend. He cooked us a good dinner and then he cooked us breakfast Sunday morning. The food was great, and not having to cook and clean was awesome too. He was so sweet to let Natalie and me just visit and play with the kids. Thanks so much, Sweetheart!!

After Natalie, Tori, and Brady left this morning, this is what my girls looked like for several hours...they were exhausted!!! We had such a great visit, but as always we just wish it could have been longer!!!
We love you guys so much!!! We can hardly wait to see you again!
