We finally got some "wintery weather" last night and today. Unfortunately, it was mostly ice, sleet, and freezing rain rather than beautiful and fun snow. There was not too much to play with, but we did have some boys down the street pulling each other on a mattress with a 4-wheeler....they looked like they were having fun!!
This was at about 5:00 PM, and you can see that the grass is hardly collecting anything. The back deck had a pretty good coat of ice, at least enough to make the dogs fall when they went running out the door!

We both went to work this morning, but this is how Hoy spent the afternoon, since I was asleep on the couch and the girls were with my parents since their school was closed. 
The sleet and freezing rain started turning to snow later this evening, and this is how our deck looked when we went to bed. We'll see how tomorrow goes....our girls are across town at my parents house tonight, and my friend Natalie is supposed to be driving in from Hot Springs in the morning.
