Our Week in Review

I had really hoped to upload pictures during the week, but before I knew it the week was over! Here are some of the things we did this week...

Our favorite American Idol!! One of our friends is Sean Michel, who many of you saw on American Idol last year. We had him over for dinner Monday night for some good food and fellowship. It was so much fun to visit with him and reminisce about our high school days!

Lucy was sound asleep before the fun was over! She sleeps so good in her carrier, which Logan would never do.

Lucy had a little stomach bug on Thursday, so she stayed home from school. She spent the day with her Nonnie and Poppy, which is one of her favorite things! Here is she playing the piano for her Nonnie.

Thursday night we went to pick up Lucy, and Logan wanted to show Lucy how to use her sippy cup. Notice Logan's mouth wide open to show Lucy how to put it in her mouth. Lucy did a pretty good job drinking from it considering it was her first time to lay lips on a sippy cup!

Logan was being silly and playing in Lucy's rocking seat. She thought it was so funny to crawl in and out of the chair because it was too small for her.

Logan got her bath at Nonnie and Poppy's house, but she did not have any clean clothes. Nonnie rolled up the sleeves of one of her shirts for Logan, and Logan thought she was such a big girl wearing Nonnie's clothes!

Here is Daddy celebrating his winnings from Waffle House. Anyone who knows Ali's dad will not be surprised about this....he entered a Waffle House contest by writing an essay about a favorite Waffle House memory, and he won second place nationally in the contest!!

Friday, Ali hosted a baby shower for her good friend, Brenna. Ali and Brenna met about 9 years ago in college and went to graduate school together, and now they work together at the clinic as nurse practitioners. Brenna is having a little boy at the end of February.

Here is Logan and Lucy playing together on the floor at home on Saturday. Lucy is sitting up really good on her own, but Logan still thinks she needs a lot help!
