Swimming Lessons

We've been really busy lately with our house on the market and trying to keep things clean and in order with 2 babies running around, but still try to continue to live life!! So I'm a few week behind in updating the blog. . .

Our friend Jill came over to Nonnie and Poppy's house every day for 2 weeks to teach Logan swimming lessons. Logan did a great job, and Jill was awesome with Logan. By the end of the 2 weeks, Logan was loving Jill.


Here is Jill holding Logan on the steps the very first day. Logan was so familiar with the swimming pool that getting her to swim was really not an issue.

Logan immediately loved jumping off the side of the pool. Here is Jill trying to keep her on the side until she was ready for Logan to jump. We had kept Logan from jumping off the side and off the diving board until these lessons, because we felt that she was safer thinking there was only one way in the pool and that was by using the steps.

You can see that Logan is having a great time.
Here is Jill teaching Logan to "talk to the fish" by blowing bubbles in the water, and then listening to the fish by putting her ears in the water. Logan has not liked water in her ears very much since she got tubes at 9 months, so that was probably the hardest part of the whole thing.
